Sailing Facility

About the project

Construction is underway on the Dartmouth Sailing Facility, and the project will include a new boat house and a new boat barn. The renovation is designed to offer the facility critical upgrades like dedicated varsity locker rooms and additional changing rooms, as well as adding improved accessibility, heat, a/c , and gathering spaces.  

Project Goals

  • Construction of a new boat barn will allow for 22 boats to be stored with their masts up and fully rigged.  
  • A new boat house will create varsity locker rooms along with changing rooms for community use.  
  • The project will improve stormwater management. 

Project Timing

  • Construction was completed fall 2024.
