Service Requests

If you need to submit a service request, please do so through Planon Dartmouth's Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). Planon is used for Facilities Management, Space, Maintenance, Real Estate, and many other areas of Campus Services.  Planon is a web-based application that can be accessed via the web browser Chrome or Firefox. To support the upkeep of our campus, Planon offers a self-service feature that enables members of the Dartmouth community to easily request any service they may need directly online. 

How to Request a Service

  1. Open Planon by clicking here or by visiting facilities.dartmouth.edu. 

  2. Access is controlled via Dartmouth's SSO. If this is the first time you've visited the website, you will be prompted to login with the normal DUO two-factor authentication. 

  3. Select which "Service Request tile" best meets your needs. 

  4. Here's the information you'll need to submit your request: 

  5. Your full name and Net ID 

  6. A telephone number where you can be reached 

  7. The exact location where the service is needed 

  8. A detailed description of the service you need 

  9. Any relevant photos or files you can attach 

  10. A chart string for department billed charges 

  11. Once you've entered this information into the system, please hit "submit." 

Next Steps

  • Our Facilities Customer Service Center (FCSC) team evaluates all requests and assigns them to the proper Facilities team for service.  

  • To view updates on your request, reach out to the FCSC team to check on the status of your work order.
