North College Street Sidewalk

Update for the two weeks beginning Oct. 19 and 26, 2020

About the Project

To improve pedestrian access and safety, a new sidewalk along the east side of North College Street is being installed to extend the Town sidewalk from the Burke Chemistry building to the North Park Street intersection. Due to steep slopes in this area, a significant amount of regrading will be necessary to install the sidewalk which will parallel the road at street level. A new stone retaining wall will be installed on the north side of the Burke parking lot entrance driveway, mirroring the existing wall on the south side.

The project is scheduled to begin July 20 and be completed by October 31. Questions about the project may be directed to the Work Control Center at 603-646-2508.

What's Happening
